A couple years ago my New Jersey grand daughter sent me on of her extra cat trees and I set it up in front of the living room window:

The cats LOVE it!!

Here is is a couple years and cats later - the leaning tower of Meowser:

Won't be too much longer those screws are going to let go. I'd love to be in there and be able to see the look on the cat's face when it goes!

Hope you can afford the coming vet bills. I'd reinforce the tree if I were you.

They are cats not glass.. ive seen cats fall 20 ft out of a tree and run off like nothing happened

That's a nice tree and a good spot for it too. I have one in a window like that and a bird feeder outside in front of it, its like cat TV!

They don't use plywood anymore they use particle board and all it takes is just a tiny bit of moisture and it falls apart!

It's leaning even more today, but she still climbed up there for her nap.
