Does anyone remember the caramel albino that hatched back in 2009? Well it's ended up here with me. Here are some recent pictures of it. I'm aware that it has severe pyramiding but it is a very healthy tortoise otherwise.
Mmmm. That would better off up here in the north with me ;). I thought albinos had red eyes?

Yes indeed! Did you breed it by yourself 7 years ago?

I love the coloring. Is that much pyramiding reversible in the correct conditions?

Pyramiding is never really "reversible," but with proper care you can assure that new new growth will be smooth. With the smooth new growth, the older pyramiding belongs to look less and less severe.

Ah. Thank you. The shell is like a report card. ;)

I don't think it's albino either, cuz no red eyes. It looks to me to possibly have some MBD. Really bad conditions in its early life. Pretty color though. Also, you can never reverse pyramiding. You can try to stop it though.

Looks like chimerism in birds and reptiles isn't as uncommon as I thought. Egg chimerism!

He probably isn't a chimera, I just think it's neat.
