I use this one bought on Amazon. I selected it because of the distance to measuring radius ratio. That is 16:1 on this gun. That simply means at 16" away the gun is reading the heat of a 1" circle where you point the laser. So standing and about 32" it is only reading a 2" circle. That works for me. You can get guns for a bit less, but I don't want a gun with a more standard 12:1 or less ratio as it starts reading too large and area if you are very far away at all.
