Is it something I can feed them as part of their main diet or just every once in a while?
It is usually seasonal. I feed it to them when its available. It can be part of the main diet, but no food should be fed to them every day. Variety is key.

You can get pumpkin here any time of year and we have it growing in our yard. My iguana and redfoot love the leaves and flowers. Just make sure they are not sprayed with any pesticide.
