Hi guys, I'm new to the site and recently inherited a Russian Tortoise from a relative who couldn't keep it anymore. I'm curious to know if anyone can help me guess how old it is, how to determine its sex, and if it is wild caught. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks!

Looking very male from what I can see of the tail. No way to know the age or origin.

Pictures are too dark to attempt a guess at age, but I agree - what I can see of the tail looks male.

I can't tell by your picture but a female tail is about the first joint of your finger. Russian Males have a longer tail
