Can’t return Timothy hay, what should I do with it?

I was looking for sulcata tortoise supplies online and heard that hay is a part of its diet. But what I didn’t notice is that it’s not for baby sulcatas. I already bought it, and it’s not returnable, tried re-selling it no body seems to be interested. What can I do with it?
I was looking around the forum and see several options but I wasn’t sure.

1. Use as bedding, but it might mold or poke the tortoise. Maybe I can try the softer leaves?
2. Ground it up and add to their diet
3. Rehydrate with water and cut them up

Don't use as bedding
Chop it up finely, soak in water and feed it. You can mix some mazuri in it or any other type pellets you might feed to help the torts accept it.
