Long long long ago I used a Nikon Coolpix I believe for animal pictures. Lots of people were using that series, it did quite well in capturing the true colors of animals.

My fancy camera is a Sony Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Digital Camera with 16-50 mm Lens, 24 MP. Otherwise iPhone8 it is. The Sony is 5 years old so its easier to transfer via flash card than by wifi connection, otherwise it takes better pictures than my wife require. If you win a lottery or are discovered by your rich uncle a Hasselblad H6D-400c MS Medium Format Dslr Camera would be nice
