Anyone have any thoughts on calcium powders versus spray? I have both and am wondering which one would be more beneficial to my red foot tort. He's still very young if that makes a difference im not sure :)
Thanks

I would just make it easy and throw a cuttlebone in there. Let him get his own supplementary calcium as he wishes. Besides that just feed a good varied diet and he should be just fine.

I have the powder stuff but never use it.

I have used both when I had one and he was little. He seemed to eat the food a little better with the spray, but just a small amount and then put the food that got the spray in the middle of the pile.

I also just use cuttlebone.
And if I feel Tidgy hasn't nibbled it for a while I just scrape a little onto her food.
