How do you get your guys to eat the stuff sprinkled with calcium? Mine won't touch anything with it on it. He goes on hunger strikes. Loves Mazuri though, is there enough calcium in that to supplement his healthy growth? If not, how on earth do I get him to eat the calcium??

Thanks,
Kev

You're probably using too much. They don't like the smell or taste (usually), so you just use a very tiny pinch over the food, then stir it up so it's not visible.

You could also try liquid calcium if it's a really bad problem. Put it in the bath water

If you can find the type made and sold by Repashy, I think your luck will change.
I no longer have babies and my tortoises all now live out in the sunshine, however, when I did need to supplement, mine would ignore foods with any of the white stuff on it, but ate foods with the brown Repashy like it wasn't even there.
