My 9 month old female leopard has been going in her cave (instead of her basking tile) for over a week now she will eat in the morning for a little bit sometimes 5 minutes other times much longer and then when she's done she goes in her cave for 5 - 6 hours and then comes back out to eat and then goes back in.. there may have been a couple of days out of the week where she actually walked around and exercised for a while it almost seemed to me like she's trying to hibernate but I read leopards are not a species that hibernate so I thought I would run it by you guys....is she slowing down cause of the season??? I also read that it does snow in some parts of South Africa and that some leopards do hibernate....?

Inside enclosure or outside?

What temperatures in the enclosure, in cave, @ basking spot?

Has overall quantity of food consumed changed?

If using UVB bulb, last time it was replaced?

She's pretty much the same every day maybe once a week she doesn't eat very much of her pile but usually she eats most of it every day and she poops every day she pooped this morning when I soaked her ...her enclosure is enclosed and always maintains over 90% humidity usually 95 or higher overnight maybe low to Mid 90s during the day temperatures are around 84 at night and high 80s during the day with the Basking tile on average of 92° plus or minus a few degrees.... the digital temperature humidity thermometer disc next to her cave is the hotter end and the red LED thermostat display is the cooler end of the enclosure as you can see in the last picture the full size ..I get her outside on the weekends for a couple hours and only use the ho t5 UVB for about 30 minutes in the morning while she's eating... and then switch to a LED for lighting and the Basking bulb (45w mini flood) on a dimmer switch over her tile keeps it high 80s at the hot end.

It's an indoor enclosure about 21 by 34 and 20 + inches from the substrate to the light
