Correct. It chemically softens the surface of both sides and bonds them together.

I could not find anything that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg to ship to me.

I ended up doing this instead.

It can be 4x8 or in my case 2 4x4 sections. Its working better then I would ever had expected.

I found mine at home depot. The store by me is small so they didn't carry it. A larger home depot not to far from me did carry it. @Markw84 builds enclosures with the pvc and sells them. He might have a better supplier.

It seems some Home Depots on the East Coast do carry it. None on the West Coast do. I buy from a plastics wholesaler. Do a google search for "Expanded PVC for Sale in Lakeland FL". You will get several plastics suppliers that come up. Your problem may be it is expensive buying for one enclosure and some may not wish to sell small quantities. I'm sure you can find someone who will, though.

One of the keys to buying from suppliers is knowing or acting like you what you're buying. I email asking for quotes, using the manufacturer & part number for what I want. 2) Set up an account, even if it's just a cash account. Most charge 'walk ins' higher markup than accounts. 3) if possible ask if they can order it with their next stock order to avoid/minimize freight charges.

So I can never leave well enough alone....
Has anyone made a double layer enclosure with a connecting ramp using E-PVC?
Would this E-PVC enclosure be sturdy enough to stack?
I am also planning on making it 6x3 😳
I was thinking 3 horizontal braces per roof as well as a vertical brace along the front and back walls, and probably having a double middle floor (so 1" thick, or maybe using 3/4" E-PVC🤔)

Think it will work? (Should I start a separate thread)
