Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone on the forum is working with the Bowsprit tortoise also known as the Angulate tortoise (Chersina angulata). I am interested in obtaining some and would like to talk with anyone who is currently working with this species or has done so in the past. Thanks!

I hear they are a sensitive species. I know someone who said that they don't do well in captivity, but I also have a friend who had some for a long time. The Behler Conservation Center has some and has produced babies. I think if you email Peter, he may be able to assist you

There is some footage of them on BBC's Life In Cold Blood (Awesome DVD by the way!)

Good luck! Those are some really cool tortoises.
