They can be pretty destructive. I had a snow toy (?) sunk into a depression in the ground, surrounded by stepping stones in a star pattern, and filled with clean water. It worked out great...for me, but evidently not for them! I guess they prefer a mud wallow:

I got them as hatchlings in 2000.

This one's from a few years ago. I don't think I had a digital camera in 2000. This seems to be the oldest picture I could find.

I think you need a bigger 'snow thingy'... :)

or use concrete.. or just let a hose run for a bit i guess...
