My tortoise is obsessed with trying to flip and climb into a hide that I've made from an ice cream tub for her.

Here is a video of what I mean: https://youtu.be/6NIJYonoNYo

When she ends up in it, she seems to get stuck although there is an obvious gap for her to get out of it. I find her stuck in there a few times a day at the moment (don't worry -I remove the tub when I am going out!)

Does anyone know why she is doing this? Is this a sign of aggression? Or is she just being weird?

Tortoises like to sleep in corners. A lot, like my leopards and Russian likes to dig in once they get in the corner. It seems this is what yours is doing but the hide is moving with her.
Put the one end of the hide in a corner and see if that helps. Otherwise you may have to try and attach it so it doesn't move.

Put it up against a wall in the enclosure and place a brick on it.
