Here is the new enclosure I’ve just made for Baxter. Literally 2 hours to build. Copied plans from here, 4x3x2, 1/2 pvc sheet. In looking for the sheeting, I found out that one of the top manufacturers of pvc sheet , Kommerling, is located in my town. I was able to go pick up the sheets from them $71 each. ?

The door track will be here tomorrow, I think I will put 1 flood light, 1 Che, and 1 t5 fluorescent uvb strip, for now to see how that goes,, it should hold the heat/humidity in fairly well, it is pretty well sealed up, I think there will be enough opening in the glass doors for a little air , should I put in some vents ? I was thinking of some kind of adjustable vents on the side if it needs it.

I’ve got a thermostat for the Che,I will set it on 80 degrees, so it will not get below 80 . I will put the flood bulb and uvb on a timer 12 on 12 off, I will adjust flood bulb wattage to get around 85- 90 during the day, with a warmer basking rock area under it.

Yeah , that’s what I thought about the vents, seems like everybody who has the vents wind up covering them up.
