Has anyone used these bulbs? Can I use them to bask? I have 2 basking bulbs but I think they too powerful for my small enclosre . Ones a 65 watt flood light, other is a 75 watt zoomed basking light. I believe both my big bulb combined will raise ambient temp about 90 degreeF. So I bought smaller bulbs.

THE REASON I WANNA ADD SMALL BULBS IS BECUASE THEY SHARE A 100 WATT CERAMIC BULB CONNECTED TO ZILLA TEMP CONTEOLLER WITH 65 WATT FLOOD LIGHT. BUT I HAVE A 2X4 DIVIDER THEY KEEP CLIMBING N FLIPPING. DON'T WANNA GET THEM COOKED. GONNA ADD THEY OWN BASK LIGHT WITH NOTHING TO FLIP20180520_193624.jpg20180520_193650.jpg20180519_145144.jpg20180519_145153.jpg

Try them and see what your thermometer says. I'm using 43 watt round bulbs in my closed chamber right now and those heat them up about 10 degrees by the end of the day.

It’s worth a try. Otherwise they have smaller bulbs like that in the candle section at craft stores that are used for wax warmers.
