I have someone that is selling 2 baby Sulcatas locally.

If I get them Sunday 21DEC I can ship them to you Monday.

Really want a pair of Greek Ibera or 6month olds for my first Torts.

Asking $75 each plus overnight shipping or will trade for other young torts.

Tucson.

Since they are not in the right hands now, they may as well be in one of ours.

Sorry. If you want them then I'll go and get them. It's an hour drive away. There are numerous listings this week for "baby" sulcatas ranging from $50 down. I figure if there are on C-list then anyone can get them and I would not have to act as the broker.

My local shop "Reptile Specialist" in Tucson sells them for $60 each when you buy 2 or more.

I suppose I can get in touch with a local Sulcatta rescue?

But you would be out your money, as rescues won't pay for animals.

I used to do the same thing for Beagles up north and then foster them for a rescue. I would be reimbursed for the pound bail money + they pay the Vet bill.

I know I cannot rescue them all.

What do we do?
