Hi guys,
I redid the baby enclosure, because the humidity was starting to rot the wood. So I took everything out, allowed the wood to dry, scrubbed with vinegar, dried again. Then waterproofed it, and voila! New enclosure time!
I used 3.5 millimeter thick vapor barrier. I used my staple gun to attach it. I tape the sides together with gorrilla tape. Then on top, I found some very cool flat pieces of fake "plant" at the dollar store, so I installed that along the top of the shelf. I replanted their plants, and added some grass seed which is growing nicely. I also added a ramp, which was attached with zip ties, and added the rubber grip stuff, so they can easily walk up to the second level. They have three thermometers, and hygrometers, and those acurite ones seem to not like getting wet. So I'm going back to the old school ones! lol. Because you can see in the pic, the numbers aren't working properly.
Under the shelf they have four planters, half sunk into the soil for hiding, and anther large container with damp spagnum moss by the che, that is their humid hide.
I added the humidifier for emergencies, or if I am at work all day. It is on a timer to go off regularly to keep it humid, however with the plants, if doesn't drop below 80! So I'm very happy with the redo. Let me know what you guys think!
