Our Herman toddlers (5yrs) have been living in their outside enclosure and have all buried down and gone to sleep! Now it's only the end of September (we are in the UK) so normally they would not go into the fridge until at least late October/start November and then come out again around St Patricks day (mid March).

So I have two options... dig them up and just put them in the fridge or dig them up and keep them awake on an indoor table until late October and wind them down again...

opinions?

If you think they're really in brumation mode, in my opinion, the fridge is a good idea. Prior to digging in, had they been eating? Maybe you can just keep digging them up daily and setting them in front of the food. If they refuse to eat, then they really DO want to brumate and the fridge is a good place for them.
