She might be kinda freaked from her travels so don’t be surprised is she’s scared, not hungry, etc. Talk to her. Let her feel your love. She’ll be just fine.

Hi All
Little Evo is here but he is weak and guess exhausted. When I opened box he was on his back.
Is there anything I can do to get him better?
Soak, food etc. see pix and video

It's not good that he was on his back when he arrived...hope it was not for too long!
I would just make sure everything is as it should be, and give him a soak (not too deep!) in warm water for about half an hour before putting him into his prepared enclosure and leaving him alone and undisturbed as much as possible for now. Good luck! I really hope he will be OK.

When Evo arrived I weight her and measure her.
She was born in Feb 2019 and currently weighs 58g and is 7.5cm long.

Hi All

It has been 5 hours now.
As recommended Evo has been soaked and was drinking while enjoying the water.
Not sure if it was ok but I gave her a quarter of a strawberry and she loved it. She has eaten greens and currently is enjoying a little piece of zucchini.
Would love to post videos but this is not working so pix have to do.

That’s terrific news. She looks great, eating, walking and exploring! Good job to you both.

No, she arrived from the north island. There are one or two breeders but they are very hard to find.,NZ very strict with animal importations.
She is doing very well. She has been soaked where she left some uraltes . She has eaten a lot apart from strawberry she had clover , greens, zucchini and when I took her out in the sun she had more clover and a wee.
She slept under the basking light and now duh herself under the substrate. Is this OK?

Sounds good to me. Other Hermanns will chime in about that. I only know desert ones! Happy for you.
