That fixture and bulb are perfect!

There is usually a guide on the box with proper height info. I think it's supposed to be 20in above the tort's shell, but don't hold me to that. I'm just not sure (having a senior moment ? )

I have the 46" one in a 6x4. Do yourself a favor & go through lightyourreptiles.com it's way cheaper. Roughly 18 -20" is what was recommended to me. Screenshot_20210621-184323_Gmail.jpg

The Arcadia pro T% fixtures are the best on the market currently in my opinion. The best source in the US is reptilebasics.com. The 36" fixture with bulb is $69.99.

One of the things I like about these fixtures is that they are quite consistent in output fixture to fixture as opposed to many other brands. The 12% is a good choice and the numbers @ZEROPILOT quoted are right on. I have tested a few dozen of these. I also mount about 20" for a UVI of 3.5. I have mine in my personal enclosures on for 4 hours a day midday.
