Occasionally, they appeared on top of the soil of my flower pots. Is it somekind of egg or is it those decorative stones? But I didn't buy any decorative stones.

Hydroponic clay balls "leca". I use these as the media for my orchids.

maybe a bird or something picks them up and drops them? not sure how they would get to your pot..
