It might be billy goat weed. (Ageratum conyzoides)

This is what the web says, "A. conyzoides has long been used medicinally around the globe, in addition to possessing insecticidal and nematodicidal activity."

So because it is used as an insecticide and nematodicide, I would hesitate to feed it. But I couldn't find if it is edible or not. Ask the tortoise Table.

The same plant is growing in our planter. It just popped up. The leaves smell ... different... not recognizable. Yes, I smelled the leaves earlier this week to see if it could be acceptable tortoise food (as most weeds are). Not being able to identify the plant and it smells odd-ish I did not feed it to our tort. Still letting it grow to see what it matures into. Yours is flowering already and maybe that will help to identify it. You took a good photo of it.
