I have 2 leopard Tortoises. I feed them spring mix, cucumber, kale from the store and then I grow dandylions and some weeds in the back yard. They seem to enjoy it but want to know if I should mix it up more.
I have hepavite powder that I sprinkle on the cucmuber. They also enjoy tortoise pellets I get from Petsmart. They are growing well but my female is a smaller than the male and they have the same diet. Is this normal?
Just for reference they are almost 2 years. Male is 8in" with ruler laid on the ground next to him and 4 inches high. female is 6" by 3 1/2 in.
Just want to make sure that I am feeding them correctly.

the list shows fruits. I had heard that leopards should not eat fruit at all. is there any on that list that is good for them?

Fruit can be fed as a treat, but should not be used as a staple.

I would give less kale, and go with mustard or collard greens, endive or escrole instead of kale. You can still give kale but occasionally not as a staple part of the diet. I don't tend to give fruits, I usually go with the flowers instead.
