He is adorable!

But may I make a suggestion to get a terra cotta plant saucer ($1.50 for a 4" wide one at any garden or home improvement store) for a water dish instead of the one you have now. Those are dangerous to the little hatchlings.

Thanks, I bought one tonight, but I was worried it took up too much space. I will use it.

Okay [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH][THUMBS UP SIGN] good to hear. Why it's dangerous is because it's too deep with walls that are way too high for little ones to climb out of. Plant saucers are very shallow, and if your baby was to flip over in it, he'd be okay. In that other one though, he'd be in trouble since it's deep [DISAPPOINTED FACE]

Plus another benefit of the plant saucer is he will be able to soak himself as he pleases [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH][TURTLE]
