I was wondering if you could share with me at what temperature do you close your adults in for the night. Thank you!
Thanks now I understand. Mine are growing tall and wide. So I need to pick the sides and slim them down. Can I maintain the plants to about 5 ft?@Ray--Opo
~ Yes, simply put a pad in the dirt about 1/4 the way in and it should grow naturally. We see the most significant growth after a rainy day. I then pick all pads on the sides and let the straight ones grow and continue to grow taller. After a year or so they should be about three to five feet with much continual grow producing new pads.

~ I planted these one year ago starting with a single pad. They have been picked and trimmed two or three times so far.

Thanks will start trimming. How long do the pads last after being picked?~ I do, i keep them between 5 and 6 foot. I found the more i harvest, the more they produce new pads. I keep them trimmed on the sides, i think this helps them produce more at the higher levels.....easier to pick and less easier for other critters to get them.....
