Hi all,

I was given a 3 year old horsefield in January, when I would go by his enclosure he would come at me with his mouth open as if to attack. As the weather has been nice in Wales he has been in the garden a lot, but the other day whilst I was lying on the ground he actually bit my leg, he normally just climbs on me. Is seems as if he is getting more aggressively towards me, he even tried to head butt me a few times as well.

I care for him well, feed and water him every day, he is eating.

Is this normal?

It sounds as though this is a male and he is becoming territorial. You are infringing on his territory and he wants to get you to leave.

Hi, thanks for the replies.
He is a Male yes, is there anyway to stop this or is it just their nature?
I have recently built him a new enclosure so I was wondering if that had upset him at all?
I hope not Tom haha.
