Anja, they are beautiful an really look to be enjoying their breakfast, Yumm Worms. And they say the early bird gets the worm. Hah, what do they know. Its the well loved Box turtle that gets the worms. ;)

I really dont know anything about boxies, So i was wondering why the front edge of the one on the left in the 1st photo looks black and burned? Pretty turts though Your right robyn i guess the birds didnt get those worms lol :D

My guess would be dog/raccoon etc attack. Its old damage. This is a long term captive Boxie that had the damage when collected.
