...Or immature males.
This is a non breeding group. Any confirmed females become part of the permanent group unless they refuse to get along. Then they get rehomed.
I also have a large outdoor pen used to keep males or sick individuals until they are healthy and they get new homes.
See if you can spot 5 in the first photo.

I think ZeroPilot is trying to play the shell game with us.? That was my fourth guess too and she's sitting under the shell when I zoomed.?
The 4th and 5th one are out of frame in that photo.
The 6th was on the other side of the pen.

Hell. It's possible.
I've found 2 tortoises out there that I didn't know I had.
They hatched out there and just showed up one day.
But I'm pretty sure I just have 6 right now.

Well...at least I know for sure and for certain that I have a boy ? I'll at least never have that problem.?

Are they always outdoors where you are? Right now in the hills of St. Andrew, Jamaica, at nights it gets really cold for us Caribbean natives. Like in the high 50'sF to low 60'sF. That's freezing!!! And I know it gets cold in South Florida too, even colder than here sometimes - the falling iguanas, etc. comes to mind. So I have an indoor enclosure to be used at this time of year and I bring mine in in the evening and take them back outside in the morning as it warms up, then it can get to the high 80's during the day and they get a nice warm, humid day.

Right now it's still around 75 at night.
I have heated night houses. They're actually on right now.
However on extreme cold nights...below 50. I do bring them all inside my heated sunroom for the night.
Last year that was just twice.
Our winters have kind of disappeared
