Ok...I finally got some photos of the water turtles in the newly built Kameya Pond...it took them a while to get familiarized with the new environment so when they see me walking toward them they don't jump into the water instantly, and it allowed me to take some close-up photos of them.

Here is the overall view of the pond with two RESs enjoying their afternoon sun...

A new comer to the pond...the ever smiling African side-neck turtle...

So far this is what I have in the pond along with some koi fishes and feeder fishes...and all of them are getting alone very well except the feeder fishes...when I feed them I do have to spread the pellets all over the pond to prevent koi from swallowing all the food at once.

Those are great turtles. Never really see mine since they went in the pond. Still too small I guess. Really want to get another diamondback.

You have no idea what you did to me with this beautiful pond. It's so natural looking and I'm loving all those turtles basking on the rocks and log, and I'm missing my pond now. Will they stay out all year? I guess you don't have really cold Winters. Just beautiful!

Work of art. So inspiring! That! is what we're talking about ... habitats that look like natural habitats!
Your turtles are so lucky to have you as their buddy! : )

That's what happened to mine when the turtle first moved in, staying in the water most of the time. But now they would stay a great deal of time on land during the day to bask, especially the RES.

I am sorry Terry...but it's your natural box turtle garden that had inspired me to want to build a natural outdoor habitat like yours.

I think all the turtles will stay out through out the year at this point under the SoCal weather. But I will pay extra attentions when the season changes.
