I'm going for the first time!!! My friend is looking for a bearded dragon and I'm looking to get a Russian or Greek tortoise hopefully. Anyone have any advice? First 100 attendees get free pet carriers! I know I sound like a noob, but I am a bit excited.

Evin,

This juvenile pardalis on the picture below was one of them. I spoke to the owner this year and last year too and he claimed that he just raised them regularly with natural food and provide some humidity, but somehow they just developed bad pyramiding. He seemed to be pretty knowledgable guy and has raised pardalis for quite a long time. But I don't disagree with you that the pyramiding was really bad. The mother on the picture looks normal though and last fall she gave him 30 eggs in two clutches (the babies pictures were shown in my previous post).

yea i looked at the parents and all the babies and i asked him what was up with those few and he told me that too, its always sad to see so many parents buy thier kids sulcatas because they are the cute little baby tortoise and they have no clue what they are getting into

Hi Everyone:

Well......we purchased some black bulbs, a digital thermohygrometer combo...oh and....my family privately adopted an absolutely gorgeous 5.5" Leo that we couldn't be more proud of or happier with...Thanks Ray :D:

Tried to post photo, but don't think it's working....stay tuned...
