1st time trying artichoke

I just gave Gary an artichoke leaf for the first time and I pretty sure it's his favorite food! I've never seen him so food aggressive! He seriously attacked it!! It was not easy for him to eat but he tore it apart!

That's awesome. My russian tortoise refuses to eat artichoke. I'm going to have to slowly introduce it.

I don't know if sulcatas can eat artichoke but my guess is that it's ok. I would google it or see what others say to be sure tho.

My tort isn't interested in cactus pads which I was bummed about. But I will probably keep trying to introduce it.

Not sure if yours eat Mazuri but when I introduced cactus I put Mazuri cactus and a little Timothy hay in the food processor and all 3 of my sullys loved it. Maybe try blending it with other stuff at first
