1 year adoption anniversary

1 year ago today we adopted a cute little russian tort from the pet store. This was a decision we had been considering for a few years. Im so glad we decided to do it. I really love taking care of Gary and can't get enough info about tortoises. I've also discovered a new hobby - making over/redesigning the tort enclosure. And 1 year ago I discovered TFO. I am so grateful for everyone's input and support here!! Thanks for helping me learn and keep a happy healthy tort!

Gary looks very content. Improving a tortoise or turtle enclosure is one of the most satisfying things you can do!

That is a pet mat thing I found at a drug store. It has an insert that you can heat up in the microwave or put in the freezer to warm or cool your pet. It comes in small, med, or large sizes and showed cats and dogs on the package. I got the small one (for $12 i think). It makes a warm tort pillow
