    Dont worry about the brown specks, its just substrate. Anyways his plastron is black, is that normal?. I see pictures and their bottoms look the same color as the top shell.

    I used a big droor and took out the shelves. Its bigger than my old 40 breeder vivarium. The dimensions are 38 by 21. He seems a lot happier and is moving around a lot.

    I have a giant bookcase that I can use. Thanks, it sounds like a great idea! Also, are you sure he is about 10 years old? I don't know how they would have mixed up a year old and 10 years old, or they just lied to get me to buy him.
