Hello everyone. I am selling my 3 yr old Egyptian due to a move. I am unsure of the sex due to a few different answers but I will be contacting the breeder for his answer.
I will be moving in about a month. I do not think my little one will thrive in the new living conditions and am very sad...
Hey. I have an Egyptian tort I would like to get some help sexing. I believe it is a male. He is about 4 years old. Anyone have a second opinion? Thanks, Nicole
Hello there. So here in the Pacific NW our temps are changing. I was wondering what I should be trying to aim towards for nighttime temps for Egyptians?
I also live in a new place and the humidity level is just a bit higher naturally. How high is still a safe level? Im just looking for an...
Hahah. He should be a happy little guy he gets an all you can eat "salad bar" and then a good nap. With being an indoor guy I just hope I'm getting him enough outdoor exercise.
I have a 5 month old Egyptian and he seems to be doing really well. He is eating very well and shows no sign of lethargy. He does get outside wandering time with lots of organic/natural diet. However I am having two things happen: 1. He seems to be getting chubby around the chin the last week...
Thank you guys so much. I have learned so much. All I want to do is watch my tort all day. I don't think I could have provided as well if this forum wasn't here.
Emysemys- I did not see that. I would love to meet up with everyone. There is a reptile show that I want to see in...
I am an outdoor sales rep for a beauty supply company... however I just got a new position in the company where I will be an educator for the different brands we carry. Not too bad of a gig. Basically, I sell shampoo and tell people what is in it and how to use it. I will be 28 very shortly.
That is awesome. This was shot in my neck of the woods-- just a few blocks from me. I just saw them play in an apartment building that was going to be torn down a few days later. It was wild. One of the best things I have ever seen.
Are you looking for stories and myths about rare, special, abnormal... tortoises and turtles in myths and legend? Would you be looking for modern and contemporary things or more like ancient folklore of older cultures and societies? Are you looking for true stories that just seem outrageous?
Thanks. It does have me wonder if there could be any positives from it. Right now he is still a bit too wobbly to have a dish in his tank for water. I do use big leaves throughout the day filled with water, but it only works so well. He drinks just fine in his baths. I do give him freshly...
Hello there. I have a young Egyptian and I do soaks daily or twice a day when it is hot out. I was recommended to keep the tank low in humidity, but do lots of soaks. He is healthy and active. He eats very well, but I know that not enough hydration can be an issue for desert torts. I do...
Hey I figured I would jump on and ask also. I am having the same issue with my Egyptian. I can usually see the smashed greens on his face and claws. He usually poos during his bath or I clean it out of the cage uneaten. Anything I can do if it is just the food?
RE: [split] TFO's Fourth Anniversary: Pacific NW Get-Together
I would love to do lunch and the show. Any idea what the entrance fee is for the show? I wonder how many Portland area people there are on here.
