Thanks Lisa,, have done! Have baked the topsoil too earlier and he's now in a mixture of the 2, it's a but stinky, heres hoping the smell will subside slightly over the next couple of days!

Hi All, Told you it wouldn't be too long before I was back :) I wondered if I should turn off Shelby's heat lamp at night? I'm worried with him only being 10 months old that he won't be used to it... I bought a ceramic lamp which failed overnight and the next day it seemed to take him forever...

What's a MVB? I have 2 lamps, I'm awaiting the ceramic to be delivered..

Hi all, once again thanks for all your advice, it's so helpful! I have ordered a ceramic heat emitter today, should I replace the red bulb completely when it arrives? The other bulb is a UVB 100w.. Just the plexi glass to get and we should be half way there. He's not eaten much at all so far...
