I recently celebrated World Turtle Day in a big way by constructing this massive pond for our Red Eared Slider and Mississippi Map Turtle. Some of you may might remember pictures of my old pond (which was still nice) but putting the minimum for just one turtle. It was around 50 gallons...
I just wanted to share a couple pictures of our four turtles. We have had the one lone RES for the longest time and recently become the proud parents to a small pair of Musk Turtles and a Mississipi Map Turtle.

We've decided we're running out of space on the main floor and our cichlids will need a larger tank soon so I built this over the last few days for our turtle, Cosmo.
He'll be moving downstairs into the reptile room once I get it all up and running. I have to add flat rocks, river rock some...
I just wanted to share a few new pictures of our outdoor tortoise enclosure. I originally had it half the length (8 feet) but I have the space so decided to double it as it wasn't a ton of room for our russian before.
Anyway it's 20 inches wide which isn't much but it's 16 feet long...
Nothing more enjoyable than watching the shells doing what they do best. It's weird, because my russian has NEVER eaten grass before. I guess she likes the new growth.

No... not another tortoise. Though, his room is decked out with frogs, turtles and snake statues, stuffies and decorations.
We welcomed the arrival of our son on Wednesday July 20th. We are home now settling in.
I had a ton of old pressure treated deck boards that I got from my inlaws so I could build myself an outdoor enclosure, so I thought I would get on that today.
It's not nearly as wide as I would like but it'll have to do for now, the dimensions are 20" x 96". We don't have a huge yard so I...
I have been looking around at different weeds online, and have some names of what I think they are but could not find much information on if they are safe or not (edible). I have this stuff all over my yard so I want to be sure I pull it out if they are unsafe.

We have had nothing but fantastic weather for the past couple of weeks. Perfect tortoise weather. I have had my guys outside for around 3-6 hours a day. Today I took some pictures of the little greek enjoying some lunch and UV rays.
Here's the big girl chowing down. She...
I just wanted to post a few pictures of Logana getting some sun time and eating some lettuce we grew in our garden. She seems to love it as she ate it all up.
I had one of the tortoises outside this afternoon with our dog. I thought I would snap a few pictures of her chillen in the sun. She is my wifes baby and I don't associate enough with her enough (party because I can't stand little dogs). I bought her for my wife for when I go away for business...
I was cleaning the sand in my scorpion enclosure today and he was getting a little pissed off with me. I thought it would be a good oppertunity to take some pictures.
This is now the only arachnid in my collection.
Happy Canada Day to all you Canadians. I did a search and seen Isa did the last two years and hadn't done one for this year so I thought I would start one.
I want to go out and celebrate with friends, but I got heat stroke building out shed today, lol. Hope it clears up so I can enjoy some...
I took this video a few weeks back of my two tortoises enjoying some of the finer things in life. I posted pictures earlier, had some time to put videos up.
Enjoy.

I have been spending alot of extra time in the reptile room since we picked up out little greek. I should have weighed the little guy when we got him because I would know if he has grown. To my eye he has though. And it's a male until proven otherwise.
I gave the little un-named guy some...
