I will be using this thread to slowly add new and old pictures of my tortoise Tortuga, an almost two year old sulcata. It'll be very inconsistent in regards to posting schedule but for the most part I will try to keep it very aesthetic.

About three weeks until my little Tortuga is 2 years old. He's breaking the scale and 10.5". Just wondering if anyone would be willing to take a guess at what her sex is?
This is some kind of jasmine isn't it? Is it safe for a sulcata? Also I've been trying to find some kind of tree that would be safe for my sulcata and provide shade. I was looking at a mimosa or a mulberry because I know they are safe, but I was wondering if a Japanese red maple is safe?
I just wanna make sure that the seeds I picked up are safe before I get them in the ground.

What kind of thermostat do you, my fellow tortoise keepers, use to keep your temperatures regulated in your tortoise's indoor enclosures?
