    HIngebacks in Michigan

Looking to find a new home for my two hingebacks. I just have too many reptiles and need to cut down the numbers a bit. I do not want to ship them. I am located in the Flint area, but we regularly go to Oxford and I will be making a few trips to the Mio area. I have an adult and a juvenile...

Looking for tortoise homes in Michigan

Looking for a few good homes for some of my torts. They are very well cared for here, I just need to down size due to my health. It has been getting harder for me to get around, so I am trying to downsize. I will not ship any of them. Particular as to where they go, I hate to part with any of...

What do your redfoots eat for protein?

Completely forgot redfoots can eat egg!!! Since the kids colored 3 dozen, looks like it will be protein day tomorrow!!!! I put worms in the substrate of my redfoots cage, there are also slugs and pill bugs living in there. I let them eat them as they choose. I just feed a variety of veggies...

    "Friendly" box turtle

RE: "Freindly" box turtle The enclosure is not 100% finished, which is why he keeps getting over. The weather has been up and down so they have only been out sporadically. Once I finish it, he will be unable to break out! If I do allow them to live together, then I could take the divider out...

    "Friendly" box turtle

Need a little advice... My three toed box turtle, Taz, has decided living alone is not the way he wants to go. He insists on breaking into the redfoot enclosure outside. Once he gets in he just follows them around, or curls up and sleeps next to them. When I put him back in his enclosure, he...

    Large outdoor enclosure

Here is the beginning of my outdoor torts pens. The area is next to the house and gets a few hours of sun in the morning and then dappled sun throughout the day. The space will be divided into three pens. The hingebacks will be on the far end, Box turtle in the middle and redfoots last. The...
