@Yvonne - can you give us some tips on how to file or nip off the overgrowth? Info like what tools to use and how short it should be would be extremely helpful
Thanks Tom. I have planted three spineless opuntia. One was growing pretty well last year, but in the past 8 months or so, they haven’t seem to have grown at all.
Tom - I need you. I have a contractor building a night box for me. He wants to use a 6x6x5’ shed. I said that will waste heat. I gave him your design. He says: “The Box that 1 of your friends or whoever had recommended was 4' by 4' by 2' they would have to be 4' tall of you're gonna have any...

Thanks!
Curious about the light - is this just for babies? In building my new night box, I'm not sure whether it needs a light source, or just heat. I'm in Phoenix.
Tom - where is a good place to get the radiant heat panel? I'm setting up a new box for Chuck Norris in Arizona and am glad to have the chance to really do it right this time.
Sometime in the next few months, I will be moving to Phoenix from Dallas. I have a 7-year-old Sulcata - she's maybe 40 pounds? I need lots of advice and help.
1) What is the best way to move her? I am not planning to make the drive, but I will if that is what is best for her.
2) Arizona...
I'm glad I did a search before starting a new string. I live in Dallas with my 7-year-old sulcata. We may be moving to Phoenix. I have been in a panic because I don't know what to do about grass, cooling, etc. Any recommendations for places to look for more information on setting up a...

That is so amazingly cool! I love my big :tort:, but I do miss that adorable little baby (true of my human, too).
