    That's good =). Then just turn it off at night and make sure the temp doesn't go under 75 and you'll be set.

    No lower than 75 degrees at night, also if you are using a coiled uvb bulb i would change it immediately. I use MVB which has both the heat and uvb the tortoise needs.

    Yeah I use mazuri once maybe 2 times a week. I also use grassland tortoise food, endive, spring mix, bok choy, hibiscus leaves every now and then, carrots like once a month, I'm sure there's more I just can't think of it right now lol

    There's 2 hides, one on the cool side and one under the lamp. Humidity stays around 60% when i spray it goes up in the 80's. At night, the temperature stays at 75 degrees. I have had them for a little over 2 years now, and slowly growing every day.

    Sorry, i got 2 sulcata tortoises. 1 on the left is around 300 grams, and the other is around 500 grams.

    Well i tried to do the 2 story tortoise enclosure but didn't work out too well lol. So i made some room and i went from a 2 foot X 4 foot enclosure to a 4 foot X 6 foot enclosure. Here it is: Any tips or suggestions would be great =)

    I personally don't have a heat mat, but i do have an MVB bulb that supplies heat and uvb and i keep it on 12 hours a day. I'm sure someone will respond that knows about the heat mat.

    Wow thats a lot of snow lol, don't even talk about snow down here in florida lol. Tomorrow is a high of 69 degrees.

    15 yr old, 40 pound Sulcata in Baltimore needs a home

    He's a beauty, I would take him in a heartbeat if I had the room, looks like he has been taken care of very well. Hopefully someone will take him to a good home 😀

    Lighting question

    So I'm building a 2nd story to my tortoise enclosure and my question is what should I use to light up the bottom floor? I have a MVB bulb for the 2nd floor but don't know what to do about the bottom floor.

    Outdoor enclosure

    Just built this enclosure for my 2 sulcata's. It is 4' X 8' and you can see them if you look closely lol. My sulcata's are very slow growers, weighing in at 275 grams and 375 grams and their 2 years old. Plants will be added soon =).
