Hi Everyone!
I was soaking Sid last night and notice that the bottom of his shell was peeling, so I took a soft bristled toothbrush and gently scrubed it off....now its white with some black spots. I'm guessing this isnt normal, maybe some kind of fungus. Tell me what you think.

Sid lost a claw/toenail.....should I be worried or take him to the vet?? He's not bleeding and he's walking fine. I think it may be from him trying to climb the log thats in his cage..you can see him trying to climb it in "Pics of Sid". He's definatly a little dare devil.

My daughter got Sid as a Birhtday gift. Now his shell is turning white...whats up with that? I called the vet and he said its probably a fungal infection and too gently scrub his shell with a toothbrush and put athlete's foot cream on it. Tell me what you think. Is the vet right or do I need...
