I thought that too but the vet made the medicine for his size she made it by Hand so it wouldn't effect his organs. Or at least that's what she told me she did
He hasn't been hiding though. He's been walking around like normal and being his usual self. And he's definitely dead. I just don't know what could've happened that caused it.
I woke up this morning and my Greek tortoise hatching is not moving. great Mother's Day present to me I know. He was perfectly fine yesterday eating normal had his daily soak and was walking around and acting completely normal. He had a R.I. Over a month ago but I took him to the vet and got him...
My tortoise hatchling was having this issue too, I got him from Arizona tortoise compound though. If you go to Arizonatortiosecompound.com and click on the medical tab he sells eye ointment for about 14 dollars I think. If you just put a thin layer on the eye for about a week it should clear up...
Interesting! I have a Greek hatchling and he/she always walks with the tail tucked and it occasionally wags from side to side. Other than that it's just tucked all the time!
I moved my tortoise into a new indoor enclosure on Saturday and he hasn't eaten since I put him in there Normally he eats like crazy! I'm so worried and I don't know what happened?! Is it normal for them to take a few days to adjust?
I have one hide in there underneath the moss it's kinda hard to tell its there! Also I want to add plants but not sure on what to put in there with out having to add them inside a pot
My tortoise hatchling shipped from Arizona to south Texas and he arrived just fine! Just make sure you soak them right after you take them out of the box and then put them in their enclosure with food! This was mine right when I took him or her out of the box.
I have a Greek tortoise hatchling and I was wondering what the best substrate to use is! I've recently been saying that just soil is the best but I feel like it would just stick to him if he were to walk in his water bowl and then walk on that. Any advice?!
