    Redfoots not laying eggs :(

Thanks for replying @ZEROPILOT I thought all egg laying was obvious, I probably missed a nest at my old place before I moved. I’ll check their indoor enclosure again. So redfoots eat their eggs too?

I keep my adult Redfoot tortoises outside and I do see them bask, mostly in the mornings, not for long periods of time but they do bask off and on during the day.

    Cherry Head Tortoises? Where?

If your patient Vicky can add you to waiting list. Contact her and ask when she will more available and she can reserve it for you, I bought 6 hatchlings from her in the past and it’s totally worth it. She is really good at emailing you back too. :)

How do you tell the age of a tortoise?

Is it in the growth rings? I have a trio of wild caught Redfoot tortoises I was told they’re around 10 years old? I think they’re older. How do you tell their exact age?

My new 1.2 Redfoot group pics

Thanks! Well they are social animals amongst themselves, they stick together they use the same hide and they do a lot of sitting together. This an established group so they do good together, I haven’t seen any bullying. They’re really fun to keep :)
