I believe the higher temp should be good. They cant regulate their own heat, so it is very different from us. Also, covering the enclosure should be a priority. They really need that humidity. It will also save on heat costs.

What is your substrate and cage size? Also, to bump up the humidity to help on pyramiding you can cover his enclosure with a clear shower curtain, tough plastic, etc.
