Can i see pictures of your Eastern Mud turtle tank? How much water do i need for my Eastern Mud turtles? I'm trying to figure out how to do the tank. I have been told they are poor swimmers and i noticed this little one can't get on the basking/land area when trying to get out of the water...
Does this look like an injury or mouth rot?? I have been told that it looks more like an injury but I've also been told it's mouth rot. Any suggestions on what it could be would be appreciated.
I'm not sure if this is in the right section but I was looking around and found these. I thought I'd share it them with everyone.

I think in the tote where the leaves are, I will take out the Repti bark on one end and just add Eco Earth and then leave the mixed Repti bark and eco earth at the other end and add some more leaves in there. Then i'll add the hide in there and try to find some plants and other things to also...
Do you think I should take out of some the Repti bark on the side where the leaves are and add more Eco Earth? And leave the other side (food, water dish etc) the way it is?
I had a half log in there but she never used it, so I took it out, but I can add it back in there.
I finally got my box turtle enclosure done, I was just using Repti bark substrate and leaves but added Eco Earth today, I mixed Repti bark and Eco Earth in one tote, the other tote is half rock, Repti bark at one end and then the other end is just Eco Earth (I posted pic in my other thread), I...
Ok...more questions lol. I am going to be changing up the substrate asap. I am using Repti bark but going to be adding other stuff in there with you.
I was thinking about adding eco earth/coconut fiber and mixing it with the Repti bark with leaves on top in one tote and then in the other one...
I got the enclosure done. I still want to add some more stuff in the inside but I've been dealing with a cranky 8 month old that is teething and had errands to get done today so I didn't get everything in the enclosure that I want to just yet. She was walking around the enclosure and knew to go...
Thank you all for the help. I'm going to use the PVC pipe and the non skid strips for it. I'm going to be working on it all tomorrow. If I have anymore questions, will be sure to ask.
Someone also told me I could go ahead and use the PVC pipe but put a "non skid strip" on the bottom of the pipe and that should give her traction and if I wanted, I could add leaves or bark in there as well. Thoughts?
I had a plant saucer while she was outside but it wouldn't fit in the tote very good once I added everything else that I needed to, so I put that water bowl in there, once I connect the two totes together, i'll be able to add the plant saucer back in there and also add everything else and she'll...
