I house 4 Redfoot torts together with no issues (at this time). All are within 6 months of age difference and too young for any boy/girl drama. I'll deal with that as they age and change which is fine because we have plenty of acreage to change things up and separate them when the time comes.
Oh wonderful!! We'd love to have you come over and see the area he would have. We can also expand it if we need to.
There are quite a few nice properties for sale near us. I guess if you find something you probably won't need to rehome him. Either way, it would be fun to meet a fellow tort lover :)
The weather in sunny FL is perfect for some tortoise time. I've been having a heck of a time keeping track of 4 of them at once. They're still too small for their big tort area. Now I can relax and watch them graze and play. Happy Saturday everyone!
There's an Aloe plant in the center and I sprinkled seeds from Carolina Pet Supply's "Grazing Tortoise Seed Mix". The soil is a mix of fertilizer free organic top soil and coconut coir. The seeds sprout super fast. The pictures I posted were taken today and those seeds were planted last Tuesday...
