ok, I have done it ! I no longer need to feed my 4 turtles (pelusius nanus) because I added shrimp to their habitat. Together with the filter the water is so clean that the shrimp multiply at the same rate as the turtles eat them ! I have achieved an equilibrium. How about that !
Not in there yet because the weather is still to cold. and no, they cannot escape because it is a patio completely enclosed by the walls of our house :)
Good morning,
I have finally finished my box turtle enclosure. I wonder how they will destroy it when it gets warm enough for them to live it. it will be the home for 1 male and 2 females. Please let me know your thoughts how to improve it. They also have an indoor shelter that is heated where...

In my case the male is significantly smaller then the females. so maybe Wally is the male? If you can send me pictures of the tale I may be able to see. Also, would love to see the swamp area! Told you they would love it :-) Plus the plants do an excellent job cleaning your water.
Hello,
I have been looking for Florida box turtles everywhere, but unfortunately I cannot find them in The Netherlands (where I am located), Belgium or Germany. Is there maybe somebody in Europe I can buy them from? Alternatively, are you allowed to ship turtles overseas? I realise it will be...
