Hi, we have gone through all the prep of hibernating our tortoise and we placed them in the fridge yesterday afternoon in double card board boxes with shredded paper. However, they are still moving and scratching. The fridge is reading 3.9. Is it normal that they move a little for a few days...

Won't that mean they won't be hibernating till mid jan? Is that ok? I'll turn the temp back upto 30 today and In 2 weeks I'll knock it off

Hi, im looking to replace the current UV strip we have in our viv. the one we have is an ARCADIA desert 10% 24" 18watt is this still suitable for a 3ft viv with 2 tortoise?

How often do they need changing?

Hi all, I am new to this forum. It looks a great place :-) Can you maybe help with my tortoise who has an eye infection of some sorts. It seems it's just the one side that looks swollen, once she opens her eye it seems to look fine, it's just when it's closed. The picture I have added is...
