Top left looks like Cici and the bottom right looks like 99. Those are not them, but very similar.
The group I got them from was about half and half really dark ones and really light ones. I mean REALLY dark. 99 was almost all black and Cici was a little ghost and you could hardly see her...
I believe you are correct. All of my Leopards were raised in high humidity. I have 1 from Yvonne, 2 from Kelly and 2 from Greg T. My Sulcatas are all unknown origin with the exception of this guy I got from Kelly. I know two of them are from an outfit in Mississippi but that is all. the...
You can really tell they are yours and that they were raised right before I got them. The others I have have pretty significant pyramiding despite being raised in the exact same environment. These three are fairly smooth with only mild pyramids. I can't figure out why. They are soaked a ton...
@tortadise Here are the three I got from you. two Leos are Cici (the big one) and Ninety-nine (the little one with spots that look like 9's) The Sulcata is Nemo because when I got him from you he had a pale orange face like Nemo or Dexter. I went with Nemo.
Kelly I will take some pics of the two I got from you soon. One of them is growing huge while the other one, which was small to begin with, is not growing much at all. Healthy as a horse and eats like a pig so I am not worried.
I have been negligent in sharing pictures of the baby I got from @Yvonne G . So, here they are. I have had this little guy a little over four months. It would have been longer but s/he was a little escape artist and Yvonne erm... misplaced her/him for a bit :)
Anyway, this is Stamps.
That area looks nice, however, that fence will not hold a box turtle for long. If you want to use that for looks, I would strongly urge you to place some chicken wire or construction cloth along the inside perimiter and also some sort of sight obstruction, like a 2 x 8 so they can't see out.
Except when you vent in such a manner someone who might be lurking and in need of help and information might not get it because they are scared away by the judgments being passed around. My concern is not only for these animals but for others. These kinds of threads are what drive people away...
I'm shaming you? Well aren't you something. Common sense is not so common as is often the case on these threads. And you a Mod here as well. I really hope that there are no lurkers here trying to decide if they should ask for help for any animals that are being raised in a way that would...
Not one time anywhere did I say that was acceptable. I guess in your world two wrongs make a right? I did not say that the situation those poor animals are in was not upsetting. What is upsetting is a community built around love and support of the animals and the people who care for them...
Well I suppose we are all not as perfect as you then. I am willing to admit I have made mistakes in the care of my animals over the years. If you are not then that is on you. I really hope that you are not judged as harshly as you seem to judge others. I honestly do not care how much you...
I am not offended so much as I am disappointed in this community right now. These people need more help than these animals. They clearly do not understand what they are doing is wrong or they would hide it. Not post it on the internet for the world to see (and judge). Perhaps when you go get...
Judgmental lot aren't you? You have no idea what these people are about. Ignorance doesn't warrant such hostility from a group of folks who claim to love tortoises and turtles yet seem SO willing to only judge and throw stones instead of educate and make sure this kind of thing does not happen...
There are many options. Do a search top right and there is a thread about it. I plant dandelion and all kinds of spring mix seeds I buy at Lowes and Home Depot. Also, aloe and prickley pear cactus (the kind without thorns is best). They LOVE hibiscus flowers and nasturtiam flowers as well...
I am not sure what to think of this?

Is it exploitation? Is it bad for the tortoises? I know the iPads can't be much more annoying to the tort than a tracking device but is this wrong because it is only serving the purpose of this guy's "art"...
